Arita Sims has been a
legal technology consultant for over twenty years. She is the
President of A.B. Sims, LLC of Seattle, Washington, which provides
technology consulting, training and support services to attorneys and other professionals.
Arita has extensive experience with a variety of computer applications.
She provides hands-on assistance in configuring software and helping professionals and staff
to get the most from their technology
investment. This includes consulting and services for document assembly,
timekeeping & billing, accounting and case management applications. She has conducted numerous seminars and training sessions
for law firms, legal departments, accounting firms and other
professional offices. Her credentials include: Microsoft Office User Specialist,
Lexis® Practice Management Certified Independent Consultant (Time Matters,
Billing Matters, HotDocs and PCLaw)
and Timeslips Certified Consultant. Ms. Sims is a member emeritus of the
Editorial Board of Law Technology News, former lecturer for Eastern
Michigan University's College of Technology, and presenter for the
ABA Tech Show. Arita has a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
