Timeslips Case Management Links
Abacus Law, Amicus Attorney, Time Matters
Tired of entering client information in more than one place? It's time for you to take advantage of the links available between Timeslips and several popular case management applications. How it works. You enter client name, addresses, phone, matters and account numbers into one program and the link automatically copies the data to the other. Depending on the case management product, the link may be one way, moving data from case management to Timeslips, or two-way, originating in either program. Getting Started. There are several ways to start linking your case management data to Timeslips. If you're just starting with Timeslips and have data in a case management program, but no data in Timeslips, import all clients from your case software into Timeslips. If you have data in Timeslips, but no data in your case management program, use the link to import the Timeslips data into case management. For more selective linking, some applications let you designate a client as "linked" as you add or edit client records. Figure 1 shows these and other options on the Abacus Law Timeslips Link menu.
