Arita B. Sims, Owner
 Arita Sims has been a computer applications consultant for over sixteen years. She is the owner of A.B. Consulting of Michigan, which provides
technology consulting, training and support services to attorneys and other professionals. Prior to starting A.B. Consulting, she was a systems administrator for an Ann Arbor law firm, then a consultant with Eidelman Associates and Techlaw Automation Partners. Ms. Sims has extensive experience with a variety of computer applications. She has extensive experience in configuring software and assisting professionals and staff with getting the most from their technology investment. This includes extensive work with document assembly, billing, accounting and case management applications. She has conducted numerous seminars and training sessions for law firms, legal departments, accounting firms and other professional offices. Her credentials include: Microsoft Office User Specialist, Time Matters Authorized Independent Consultant, and Time Matters, Billing Matters and Billing Matters Plus Certified Professional, and Timeslips Certified Consultant. Ms. Sims conducts regular classroom training on the aforementioned applications. She is a past member of the Editorial Board of Law Technology News, former lecturer for Eastern Michigan University's College of Technology, and presenter for the ABA Tech Show. Ms. Sims has a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to attending U of M, Ms. Sims studied at Spelman College.
